Mandarina Bavaria is a new, exciting flavor hop variety from Hallertau. In terms of taste, these hops provide an exotic bouquet and a pleasantly fruity aroma, which is characterized by a tangerine/orange note - mixed with citrus nuances. In the brewing process, the hops are not added in the brewhouse during the wort boiling, as is usual, but only during storage and maturation in the cold area (“cold hopping”). This means that the particularly sensitive and volatile aromatic substances are retained right through to the finished beer.
